Full Job Description

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Quality (MQ) Technician to join our team on 2nd shift. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring that all incoming materials and manufactured products meet TE’s high standards for quality and performance.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on inspection work, precision measurement, and contributing to product excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

Inspect incoming materials and components to ensure they meet quality and specification requirements
Take measurements using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other inspection tools
Review and verify material certifications and documentation for compliance
Perform first article and in‑process inspections on manufactured products
Identify and escalate quality issues or discrepancies to the Quality Manager
Conduct shop floor audits to ensure compliance with procedures and standards
Record inspection data and maintain accurate quality documentation
Support inspection of critical components and high‑priority materials
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent
2–4 years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environments
Experience using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and technical drawings
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Ability to stand, move, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs as needed

COMPENSATION

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $38,700 – $48,400 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
