Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of exceptional food quality, maintaining high standards of food safety, and fostering a positive, efficient work environment. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily kitchen activities, supervising staff, and ensuring that all food production and service meet our rigorous standards. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver memorable dining experiences while maintaining operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Oversee the entire kitchen operation, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, chefs, and support personnel, fostering teamwork and professional development.
Implement and monitor food safety sanitizing procedures in compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
Manage inventory control and food management processes, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize costs.
Plan menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating dietary requirements and catering needs while maintaining creative excellence.
Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods, including staffing schedules and task delegation.
Maintain high standards of hospitality by ensuring excellent food service management and serving standards are upheld at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in banquet operations, fine dining establishments, or catering environments with a strong background in food production and kitchen management.
Demonstrated supervising experience with a track record of leading successful culinary teams.
Extensive knowledge of food safety practices, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
Strong background in inventory management, cost control, and menu planning within the food industry.
Experience managing restaurant or hospitality operations with a focus on quality service delivery.
Skilled in managing teams as a chef or kitchen supervisor with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Familiarity with catering services, restaurant management systems, and shift coordination to ensure efficient operations.
