Your future role at a glance:

Location: Murfreesboro, TN

Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford

Department: Imaging

Schedule: PRN | Rotating

How you'll make an impact in this role:

Capture high-fidelity cardiac imagery and hemodynamics to provide the clinical team with a clear, accurate roadmap for patient diagnosis and treatment.
Navigate complex diagnostic studies by recognizing subtle pathologies and artifacts, ensuring no critical detail is missed during routine or emergency procedures.
Advocate for patient safety and comfort by precisely positioning patients and managing technical parameters to minimize stress and maximize image clarity.
Drive clinical excellence by maintaining meticulous digital records in PACS, ensuring the hand-off to physicians is seamless and the patient’s care journey is well-documented.
Collaborate on departmental integrity by upholding rigorous quality control and regulatory standards, ensuring a safe, high-functioning environment for both staff and patients.

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
One or more of the following required:
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing
  International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
