Full Job Description

Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant

Local businessperson with operations in custom home building, real estate agent, and rental properties seeks a self-motivated, highly flexible individual with bookkeeping training and/or experience to tame the details of the office. Position is full-time or a transition from part-time to full-time.

Bookkeeping Responsibilities

Manage & maintain QuickBooks/Intuit system & records
Maintain up-to-date accurate records for all custom home projects
Review, balance & reconcile credit card, vendor & bank statements
Pay by written check or on-line items within your oversight
Create invoices for cost plus construction clients
Oversee the on-time collection of rent from tenants

Administrative Responsibilities

Establish a clear filing system; paper & digital
Schedule appointments; monitor email and respond when directed
Communicate with clients; interact with them for some project decisions
Develop & implement a daily priority calendar and means of review
Pick up and/or deliver documents, miscellaneous supplies or materials
Assist with personal errands
Process real estate listings from beginning to end
