Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the day-to-day accounting operations of our growing organization. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys both managing people and personally executing critical accounting functions.
Unlike a traditional Accounting Manager who primarily delegates work, this individual will remain actively involved in the daily accounting operations of the business. In addition to supervising a small accounting team, the Accounting Manager will personally perform many of the company's core accounting responsibilities, including entering and reviewing financial transactions, processing and approving vendor payments, administering banking portals, managing ACH and Positive Pay processes, maintaining the rolling 13-week cash flow forecast, updating monthly budgets, preparing financial statements, completing reconciliations, and owning the month-end close process.
The successful candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of balancing leadership with execution while improving processes, strengthening internal controls, and providing accurate financial information for executive decision-making.
