Role Summary
The Property Quality & Design Coordinator is an essential hands-on role responsible for upholding and improving the quality standards across our condo portfolio. This position specifically focuses on the operational oversight of property condition, coordinating minor to mid-scale renovations, and providing interior design guidance to maximize guest appeal and property longevity.
Key Responsibilities
I. Quality Control & Property Standards
Thorough Inspections: Conduct frequent, detailed inspections of properties to ensure strict compliance with Dwell Vacation Rentals by Casago's quality standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and guest readiness.
Reporting & Communication: Prepare and maintain comprehensive room evaluation reports for internal review. Communicate with homeowners to recommend and discuss necessary updates, maintenance, or design improvements.
Performance Auditing: Evaluate guest reviews on each property and platform. Research negative reviews and communicate issues to the appropriate department (Housekeeping, Maintenance) for resolution, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
OTA Listing Audits: Oversee and audit Online Travel Agency (OTA) listings (e.g., Airbnb, Vrbo) to ensure descriptions, photos, and amenities are accurate and consistent with the physical property condition.
II. Renovation & Interior Design Coordination
Design Consultation: Support homeowners in the decision-making process for furniture, finishes, and fixture (FF&E) selections during renovation projects, focusing on durability, aesthetic appeal for the vacation rental market, and budget adherence.
Project Oversight: Oversee vendor projects and renovation work, particularly during the off-season, conducting on-site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with approved specifications.
Maintenance & Project Support: Support day-to-day maintenance coordination, acting as the liaison between contractors and the maintenance team during active projects to ensure minimal disruption and timely project completion.
III. Vendor and Process Management
Vendor Administration: Audit and maintain an updated vendor list, ensuring all service providers (contractors, designers, suppliers) have the proper documentation, including insurance and licensing requirements, on file.
Process Improvement: Communicate quality gaps and improvement opportunities to each department to ensure company-wide alignment with established quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to track multiple projects and quality metrics simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain professional relationships with homeowners, vendors, and contractors.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in property management, quality control, residential project coordination, or a related operational role.
- Experience in vendor management and project oversight, particularly renovation or maintenance projects, is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of property management best practices and familiarity with OTA listing requirements.
- Proficiency with common software applications for reporting, listings management, and data entry.
- Demonstrated interest in interior remodeling and design, with the ability to select durable, high-quality materials suitable for high-traffic vacation rental environments.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule within core business hours of 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Must possess reliable transportation for frequent travel to local condominium properties.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
