Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Jimmy Johns Inshop to join our team. As a Jimmy Johns Inshop, you will play a vital role in our restaurant's success by ensuring that all orders are prepared accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing the in-store experience, handling cash and credit transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Responsibilities

- Prepare sandwiches in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage the in-store experience by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized store, including the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms.
- Upsell and suggest menu items to customers as needed.
- Utilize Aloha POS to manage orders and maintain accurate inventory.
- Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy and minimizing errors.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of retail math to ensure accurate cash handling.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of our menu items and promotions.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve knowledge and skills.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food preparation, customer service, or retail sales.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS and cash handling systems.
- Strong understanding of retail math and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as pizza dough and equipment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
