The Traffic Control Estimator plays a crucial role in ensuring projects are financially viable, accurately planned and positioned for successful execution. This role is responsible for evaluating costs, materials, labor and resource requirements for Traffic Control projects. The Traffic Control Estimator supports informed decision-making and helps ensure projects are delivered within budget while meeting company objectives and customer expectations. All of this will be accomplished while working together as a team to continually move Century forward. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate, thorough and competitive estimates for Traffic Control projects.
Analyze material, labor, equipment and time requirements to develop comprehensive bids.
Manage multiple estimates while meeting established deadlines.
Identify potential risks, discrepancies, and cost-savings opportunities.
Maintain detailed and organized records of estimates, proposals and supporting documentation.
Ability to identify, prioritize and balance tasks and activities to ensure estimates are completed and delivered on time.
Organize and clearly communicate information between clients and field teammates.
Resolve issues in a constructive, professional and collaborative manner.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in the traffic control industry a plus.
Strong understanding of trades/construction projects pertaining to reading plans, material, labor, equipment, time requirements and contracts.
Thoroughness and accuracy in all tasks.
Time management skills to work independently or collaboratively.
Excellent communication skills to convey information between clients and field personnel.
Customer and contractor facing to provide advice and expertise regarding projects.
Occasional travel within Wisconsin as required.
High school diploma or GED.
