We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Sous Chef/lead cook to join our culinary team. As a Sous Chef/lead cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and maintaining the high standards of our establishment.

**Duties:**

- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation

- Oversee and coordinate kitchen staff activities, ensuring efficient workflow

- Maintain quality control in all aspects of food production to meet customer expectations

- Manage inventory levels and control costs through effective inventory management

- Supervise food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative dishes while adhering to dietary requirements

- Lead shift management duties, including organizing kitchen operations and delegating tasks

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience in a similar role in upscale restaurant setting

- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff

- Expertise in banquet operations and catering services is a plus

- Proficient in inventory control and management practices

- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and sanitation standards

**Skills:**

- Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration

- Proficiency in inventory management software for efficient control of supplies
