Job: Quality Manager

Location: on-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Contract to Hire (with potential for extension or conversion)
Pay Range: $50-60/hour, depending on experience and skill set

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for ensuring product integrity, driving continuous improvement, and supporting operational efficiency-including initiatives that impact cost, waste reduction, and overall performance.

This is a highly visible role that partners closely with operations and leadership to improve both quality outcomes and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and maintain plant-wide quality systems, including inspection methods, procedures, product specifications, GMPs, and compliance
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to support overall cost efficiency
Analyze production and quality data to determine product acceptability
Partner with suppliers to resolve defects and support cost recovery efforts
Serve as a key point of contact for customers on quality-related matters and issue resolution
Monitor and communicate quality KPIs, including metrics tied to efficiency, yield, and cost reduction
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership on initiatives that improve both product quality and operational performance
Support reporting and tracking of quality trends that influence performance and business decisions
Train supervisors and team leads on quality processes, compliance standards, and continuous improvement practices
Ensure adherence to all quality procedures and regulatory requirements

Requirements/Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or quality-focused role
Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field
Previous management or supervisory experience
Experience in manufacturing or similar industrial environments
Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) certification is a preferred, but not required
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence teams at all levels
Hands-on leadership style with a commitment to accountability and results
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
