We're a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) commercial architectural millwork manufacturer specializing in high-end hospitals, stadiums, corporate offices, higher education, and other complex commercial projects throughout the United States.
Unlike many companies, we don't just ask our Field Superintendents to install what we've built. We ask them to help shape how projects are executed before the first truck ever leaves our shop.
What You'll Do
You'll serve as Wilkie Sanderson's representative in the field, coordinating the successful installation of commercial architectural millwork packages ranging from approximately $500,000 to more than $15 million.
You'll work closely with our Project Managers, Engineering team, General Contractors, architects, owners, and installation subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and profitably.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading commercial architectural millwork installations across the United States.
- Coordinating Wilkie Sanderson subcontractors with other trades on site.
- Driving project schedules and proactively removing obstacles before they impact progress.
- Protecting company profitability through documentation, communication, and sound field decisions.
- Building strong working relationships with General Contractors, owners, architects, and design teams.
- Identifying constructability concerns before fabrication and collaborating with Project Managers and Engineering to resolve them.
- Managing quality throughout installation and driving projects to successful punch list completion.
- Documenting field conditions, schedule impacts, and potential change order opportunities.
- Using Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Innergy, Procore, and other technology to communicate effectively with the project team.
Success isn't measured by how many hours you work or how much millwork you personally install.

- Projects remain on schedule despite changing field conditions.
- Wilkie Sanderson's financial interests are protected through proactive communication and documentation.

Travel
This position requires extended nationwide travel.
Typical mobilizations last 1–8 months, during which company-paid lodging is provided. While mobilized, you can expect to return home approximately once per month. Between mobilizations, you'll remain a full-time salaried employee and typically enjoy paid time before your next assignment.
This position can be based almost anywhere in the United States.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years as a Commercial Field Superintendent.
- Minimum 5 years managing commercial architectural millwork installations.
- Experience leading commercial millwork projects exceeding $4 million.
- Thorough understanding of commercial construction sequencing.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of AWI Quality Standards.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Procore, and similar construction software.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Willingness to travel nationwide for extended periods.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
