Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, croissants, and more. Your expertise in food preparation and culinary techniques will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality in every product you create.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistent quality and taste.
Decorate pastry with artistic flair while adhering to customer specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area to comply with food safety standards.
Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, ensuring freshness and availability.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal results.
Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or bakery setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and baking methods.
Familiarity with cake decorating techniques is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent knife skills and understanding of food handling practices.
Strong attention to detail with a passion for creating high-quality baked goods.
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late nights as needed.
A culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus but not mandatory.
