Full Job Description

Eagle Telemedicine is seeking a skilled and compassionate Outpatient Neurologist to join our nationally recognized, physician-led telemedicine practice. This fully remote position offers exceptional flexibility, meaningful work serving underserved communities, and the opportunity to be part of one of the most established multi-specialty telemedicine groups in the country.

About Eagle Telemedicine

Founded in 2008, Eagle is a pioneer in telemedicine, now providing care in 20+ specialties across 400+ programs in 35 states. Our mission centers on expanding access to specialty care—especially in rural and community hospitals—using a unique Pod Model that maintains small, consistent groups of physicians at each partner site.

All Eagle physicians serve as 1099 independent contractors working remotely from within the United States. We handle and cover the costs of state licensure, credentialing, and privileging, and provide malpractice coverage.

⭐ Position Highlights

100% remote outpatient neurology practice
Structured clinic blocks:
8AM–12PM and 1PM–5PM (local time)
Minimum 16 hours/month, with consistent ongoing availability for continuity of care
Expected patient volume: 4–8 patients per clinic block
Supported by Eagle’s clinical operations, scheduling, licensing, and IT teams
Laptop provided; provider may customize additional home office equipment

Key Responsibilities

Conduct virtual outpatient neurology clinics, performing evaluations, diagnoses, and management plans
Provide longitudinal care with recurring follow-up visits
Review diagnostic imaging and collaborate with partner facility staff
Maintain accurate, compliant documentation within partner EMRs
Educate patients and families on neurological conditions and management
Work collaboratively within Eagle’s physician-led model

Requirements

MD or DO with completed Neurology residency
ABPN Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
U.S.-based practice location (remote work)
Experience in general neurology; subspecialty expertise welcomed
Excellent communication and independent clinical decision-making skills
Ability to provide recurring monthly availability
