Job Description:

Job Title: Customer Advocate

Location: Meridian, ID 83642

Duration: 4 to 6 Months Contract (ONSITE)

Pay range: $15/hr to $19/hr

Job Summary:

As a Customer Advocate, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to deliver outstanding support to members, healthcare providers, and team members alike. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to truly make a difference with every interaction, helping individuals navigate their health and benefits with professionalism and compassion. Based on our Meridian, Idaho campus, you’ll be part of an award-winning team dedicated to excellence and community.

Requirements:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Digital literacy, including proficiency with MS Office, data entry, and navigating multiple systems
Problem-solving abilities and basic math skills
Ability to handle inquiries related to benefits, claims, and enrollment scenarios with professionalism and empathy
Experience in customer service, call centers, insurance, or medical offices is preferred
High school diploma or GED; additional certifications or education are a plus

Nice to Have Skills:

Knowledge of insurance policies or healthcare systems
Experience with pharmacy research or claims processing
Multitasking with various software applications seamlessly

Preferred Education and Experience:

No formal education requirement, but completion of high school or equivalent is helpful
Prior work experience in customer service, health insurance, or related fields
Comfortable with digital tools and quick learning of new systems

Other Requirements:

Ability to attend a paid 6-week training program, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, onsite in Meridian, Idaho
Flexibility to work any scheduled shift within our hours of operation (8:00 am to 6:00 pm)
Commitment to maintaining performance standards in satisfaction, accuracy, and productivity
