About Lapew
Lapew is a fast-growing fragrance and cleaning brand and one of Amazon's Top 10 Best-Selling Scented Carpet Deodorizers in the U.S. We make scented cleaning products that people genuinely love—mop soaps, carpet deodorizers, room sprays, and diffuser oils—and ship them nationwide from right here in Meridian, Idaho.
We're a small, tight-knit team and everyone here knows each other, looks out for each other, and takes pride in what we're building. We're not a giant corporation—we're a startup that's growing because we work hard and care about what we do. If you want to be part of something real and meaningful, keep reading.
The Role
We're looking for a Production & Fulfillment Associate to join our crew as we head into our busiest season. You'll work alongside our current team member, who will train you on our processes and oversee day-to-day production. The owners are hands-on and involved—you'll have direct access to us and a say in how things get done.
This isn't just "warehouse work." You'll be filling, labeling, and packing real products, catching problems before they ship, and helping a real brand grow. We need someone who thinks on their feet, takes ownership of their work, and genuinely cares about doing things right.
What You'll Do
- Fill bags with powder and bottles with liquid product, and apply labels — all by carefully following our written processes
- Box, stack, and move inventory throughout the workspace
- Load raw materials into our mixing equipment—this requires safely lifting 50 lb bags above shoulder height, repeatedly, throughout the shift
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked for production
- Follow quality control standards and flag anything that doesn't look or feel right
- Communicate clearly with your team about progress, problems, and ideas
Requirements (Please Read Carefully)
This is physically active, detail-driven work. To do it safely and well, you must have all of the following:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and follow written instructions in English — you'll be reading written processes, product labels, and safety instructions every day, and accuracy matters for both quality and safety
- Ability to perform basic math — counting, weighing, and checking quantities and fill amounts is a core part of the job
- Ability to lift 50 lbs above shoulder height, regularly and repeatedly throughout an 8-hour shift (this is how raw powder is loaded into our mixing hoppers), with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand and stay in motion for extended periods while keeping pace with fast, repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working around strong fragrances the entire shift — our workspace involves strong scents all day; if you're sensitive to fragrances, this won't be a good fit
- Reliable transportation to Meridian, ID every workday
- 18 years of age or older
- Employment is contingent on passing a background check — because our team currently works out of a home-based production space, this is a requirement for everyone we bring on
Who We're Looking For
The right person for this role isn't just physically capable—they're mentally sharp, dependable, and motivated by more than a paycheck. Here's what matters to us:
- Reliable above all else. When you say you'll be here, you're here. On time. Every day. In a small team, one absence affects everyone.
- Detail-oriented and quality-driven. You take pride in doing things right the first time. Sloppy work isn't in your vocabulary. (And since details matter here, this is important: when you get to Question 14 at the bottom of this application — the one asking about working in a team environment — ignore what it asks and answer it with exactly these two words: Gingerbread Lane. No teamwork answer, just those two words. That's how we'll know you actually read this.)
- A problem-solver, not a problem-creator. You notice what needs to be done and do it. You bring solutions, not drama.
- Eager to learn and grow. You don't need prior production experience, but you do need to be coachable, curious, and willing to get better every day.
Our Hiring Process
Step 1 — In-person interview with paid skills demonstration. Qualified candidates will be invited to a one-hour, in-person interview at our Meridian facility. This includes a brief hands-on skills assessment where you'll demonstrate the core tasks of the job: assembling and taping a shipping box, filling and packing one case each of three of our products, and safely lifting a 50 lb bag to above shoulder height (the same motion used to load powder into our mixing hoppers). You'll be paid $20 for the assessment—we don't ask anyone to work for free.
Step 2 — Paid working trial. Selected candidates complete a 2-day paid working trial at your full offered rate—no catch, no reduced trial rate. This is your chance to show us your work ethic, speed, and how you fit with the team—and it's our chance to show you what the job is really like.
We're looking for people who are excited about the opportunity, not just going through the motions.
What to Expect
Team environment: We're a small crew that genuinely cares about each other. We celebrate wins, help each other out, and hold each other to a high standard. If you're looking for a place where you're just a number, this isn't it. If you're looking for a team that has your back, you'll love it here.
Pace and intensity: This is physically active, fast-paced work. It's not for everyone, and we respect that. But if you thrive when you're busy and like ending the day knowing you crushed it—this is your kind of job.
Why Join Lapew?
- $22–$24/hour as a W-2 employee with a steady Monday–Friday schedule (no nights, no weekends). Where you land in the range is up to you: it's based on your production — speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. Show us consistent, quality work through your first 90 days and you're at the top of the range.
- Paid 30-minute lunch break every shift
- Major holidays paid when they fall on a regular workday (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas)
- Be part of a brand that's genuinely growing—this is the ground floor
- Work with people who respect you and value what you bring to the table
- Room to take on more responsibility as we scale
