Job Overview
Environment Control of Boise is growing, and we are looking for a motivated Assistant Operations Manager to support our operations team and help oversee daytime operations throughout the Treasure Valley.
This is a hands-on leadership position focused on employee support, quality control, customer service, staffing assistance, training, and operational problem-solving.
You’ll spend your time working directly with employees and customers in the field, helping ensure accounts are properly serviced, employees are supported, and customer expectations are exceeded.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, problem-solving, customer service, and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operations Leadership & Support
- Assist with daily operational needs across multiple customer locations
- Conduct account inspections and quality checks
- Help identify and resolve service issues
- Assist with staffing and operational coverage
- Support startup and transition of new accounts
- Help ensure company standards are maintained across all locations
Employee Support & Development
- Assist with training and onboarding new employees
- Coach and support field staff
- Help reinforce company policies and expectations
- Assist with employee retention and engagement
- Provide hands-on field support when needed
Customer Service & Public Relations
- Visit customer locations throughout the Treasure Valley
- Follow up on customer requests and concerns
- Help maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure customer satisfaction and service quality
- Represent Environment Control professionally in the field
Emergency Response & Coverage
- Respond to call-offs and staffing shortages
- Provide temporary coverage when necessary
- Assist with resolving urgent operational issues
- Help ensure customer service remains uninterrupted
Warehouse & Operational Support
- Assist with warehouse organization
- Prepare and stage supplies for field operations
- Coordinate supply deliveries
- Help maintain operational efficiency and organization
Vehicle & Equipment Management
- Operate company vehicles when needed
- Deliver supplies and equipment to customer locations
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles
- Assist with equipment transportation and setup
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Daytime hours (typically 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Occasional flexibility based on operational needs
This is primarily a daytime position with most work performed in the field.

Compensation & Advancement
