Full Job Description

TranzAct is looking for a curious, analytical, and motivated AI Intern to support innovation across our Logistics and Freight Audit & Payment teams.

This internship is ideal for a college student interested in artificial intelligence, data analytics, business operations, logistics, and real-world problem solving. You will help our team explore how AI can improve workflows, analyze freight data, reduce manual work, and turn customer-facing reports into meaningful business insights.

You do not need to be an AI expert. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, comfortable working with data, and excited about using AI tools to solve practical business problems.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the development and testing of AI tools and agents for logistics, freight audit, payment validation, and customer analytics

· Help organize and analyze data from reports, dashboards, and operational workflows

· Assist in turning customer-facing content into AI-generated summaries, insights, and recommendations

· Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar platforms to support research, analysis, documentation, and workflow improvement

· Collaborate with Logistics, Pricing, Audit, IT, and Analytics team members to identify opportunities for automation

· Help test AI-generated outputs for accuracy, clarity, and business usefulness

· Document processes, prompts, findings, and recommendations so solutions can be repeated and improved over time

What You’ll Work On

· AI-powered tools for logistics and freight audit workflows

· Customer-facing insights generated from freight data and reporting

· Automation ideas that reduce manual work and improve accuracy

· Business review content, reporting narratives, and operational summaries

· Early-stage AI agent development and experimentation

Qualifications

· Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Analytics, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field

· Interest in AI tools, automation, data analytics, or business operations

· Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar platforms is a plus

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work with both structured and unstructured information

· Clear communication skills and willingness to ask questions

· Comfortable learning new tools and working in a fast-moving environment

Nice to Have

· Exposure to logistics, supply chain, transportation, or operations analytics

· Experience using AI tools for school, projects, research, or work

· Basic understanding of data, reporting, dashboards, or workflow automation

· Interest in using technology to solve real business problems
