Full Job Description

Seeking a Maintenance Manager with a strong background in manufacturing to oversee maintenance operations, ensuring machinery, equipment, and infrastructure remain in optimal condition to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. The ideal candidate is driven to lead change and is skilled at coaching and developing team members.

What we are looking for:

Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement a robust preventative maintenance program to reduce unexpected breakdowns and increase equipment reliability.
Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Oversee troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of production machinery, electrical systems, HVAC, and facility infrastructure.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians across four shifts, assign tasks, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Downtime Reduction: Analyze equipment performance, identify recurring issues, and implement solutions to reduce unplanned downtime.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards, along with internal quality and safety policies.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, control costs, and track expenditures for repairs, parts, and labor.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Work with external vendors for contracted maintenance services and procurement of spare parts.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with Engineering and identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and cost-saving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of maintenance activities, downtime analysis, and parts inventory using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Skill:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Experience with PLC troubleshooting is a plus.
Certifications (Preferred): OSHA 30, Six Sigma
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CMMS software and Microsoft Office.
Leadership & Problem-Solving: Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to make quick, data-driven decisions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
