Full Job Description

Are you the person everyone goes to when QuickBooks isn't behaving?

The one who can untangle a messy file, fix the problem, and explain it in a way that actually makes sense?

If so, keep reading.

This mid sized CPA firm is looking for a QBO Specialist to join its growing CAS team. The role is split roughly 50/50 between helping clients solve QuickBooks challenges and delivering hands on client accounting services, giving you the opportunity to use both your technical knowledge and your client facing skills every day.

You'll work with a broad range of middle market businesses, supporting everything from payroll, job costing, and third party integrations through to improving accounting processes and helping clients get more value from their systems. No two clients are quite the same, which keeps the work interesting and gives you exposure to a wide variety of industries.

The firm has grown steadily while maintaining the collaborative culture that's often lost as firms become larger. You'll have the flexibility to work remotely, one on one mentorship, profit sharing through the 401(k), tuition reimbursement, support for further certifications, and benefits that include medical, life, disability, pet insurance, paid parental leave, volunteer hours, and regular team events throughout the year.

They're looking for someone with at least 6 years of QBD and QBO experience, expert level QuickBooks knowledge, experience with payroll and third party integrations, and someone who enjoys solving problems as much as building relationships with clients. Experience with Avalara, Bill, Qvinci, Expensify, Jirav, or similar platforms would be a plus. A CPA or advanced degree is required for Manager level candidates.
