Overview

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel General Manager, where you will lead and inspire a vibrant team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of hotel operations, from guest services and staff management to financial performance and strategic planning. As the driving force behind our hotel’s success, you will ensure smooth daily operations, uphold high standards of hospitality, and foster a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your leadership will be pivotal in creating memorable stays and maintaining the hotel’s reputation for excellence.

Duties

Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring seamless service delivery across departments including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
Lead and supervise hospitality teams, promoting a positive work environment focused on teamwork, customer service excellence, and professional development.
Manage hospitality operations budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement revenue management strategies to maximize profitability.
Develop and enforce hotel policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with safety regulations and brand guidelines.
Handle guest relations with a focus on resolving issues promptly and enhancing overall guest satisfaction.
Coordinate human resources activities such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff scheduling to maintain optimal staffing levels.
Oversee hotel management systems including front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, night audit procedures, and guest services to ensure efficiency and professionalism.
Conduct regular inspections of the property to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest comfort.
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote hotel amenities and attract new guests while retaining loyal clientele.
Implement strategies for managing hospitality operations budgets effectively while controlling costs without compromising service quality.

Requirements

Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising experience in a fast-paced environment.
Strong background in hospitality management principles including revenue management, guest services, human resources, and financial operations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams across multiple departments effectively.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele better.
Demonstrated expertise in managing hospitality operations budgets and implementing effective revenue strategies.
Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and experience handling multi-line phone systems.
Resort experience or extensive hotel experience is preferred; familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus.
Knowledge of human resources practices related to hiring, training, employee relations, and performance management.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining operational standards and guest satisfaction metrics.
