Your Role
As a Residential Service Electrician, you’ll diagnose electrical issues, perform safe and code-compliant repairs, and deliver an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.
Our electricians aren’t simply installers.
They’re trusted advisors.
Electrical Responsibilities
· Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install residential electrical systems.
· Install and service electrical panels, lighting, outlets, switches, ceiling fans, surge protection, EV chargers, generators, and wiring.
· Perform all work in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local regulations.
· Complete detailed job documentation using company software.
· Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and professional appearance.
Customer Communication
As the face of Mr. Electric, you’ll build lasting relationships with homeowners.
You’ll be expected to:
· Communicate professionally and confidently.
· Explain electrical issues in language homeowners understand.
· Educate customers about electrical safety.
· Build trust through honesty and integrity.
· Deliver a five-star customer experience on every service call.
Sales & Solution-Based Service
At Mr. Electric, we don’t believe in selling.
We believe in educating customers so they can make informed decisions.
You’ll be expected to:
· Perform a complete electrical safety evaluation during every visit.
· Identify opportunities to improve safety, reliability, convenience, and energy efficiency.
· Present multiple repair and upgrade options based on each customer’s needs and budget.
· Clearly communicate the value of your recommendations.
· Answer customer questions with confidence and professionalism.
· Ask for the customer’s business and professionally close approved work before leaving the home.
· Consistently achieve company goals for customer satisfaction, close rate, and average ticket while always maintaining the highest ethical standards.
Teamwork
· Work closely with dispatch and office staff.

Requirements
· Minimum 4 years of residential electrical service experience.
· Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
· Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
