Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing all shop machines and hand tools to assemble cabinetry according to drawing specifications. The CNC operator will provide all parts to the project labeled and ready for assembly. You will assemble the project and mock-up in the shop to verify the project is build according to the drawings. You will be working on a team to hit deadlines while crafting quality cabinets ensuring that each project meets our standards for craftsmanship and durability.

Your main job will be in the shop assembly cabinetry. When you are not in the shop you will be in the field installing millwork. This can include door jams, hanging doors, trim, protection, along with punch, minor adjustments to cabinetry and warranty work.

Duties

Assemble Cabinetry according to the drawings provided.
Read and interpret drawings to accurately construct cabinets.
Cut, shape, assemble wood components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
Perform heavy lifting and maneuver large materials safely throughout the manufacturing process.
Accept material deliveries with fork lift and conduct inventory.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Mock up cabinetry in shop (know how to install) to verify project is done correct.
Millwork installation, punch and minor adjustments.
Reliable transportation, self motivated and dependable.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cabinetry, woodworking and millwork.
Reading drawings; experience with CNC machinery is a plus.
Skilled in the use of hand tools (chisels, saws), power tools (routers, drills, sanders), and fabrication equipment.
Knowledge on cabinetry hardware, proper use and installation.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
Operate fork lift.
Motivated to complete projects on time per drawings and work as a team.
Has experience installing cabinetry, doors, jams, trim and millwork.
