Full Job Description

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a Private Client legal practice in Naples, Florida. The successful candidate will provide support to attorneys and paralegals handling sophisticated Trusts & Estates, Estate Planning, and Private Client matters.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and paralegals within the Private Client practice
Prepare, revise, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence
Assist with the preparation and assembly of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
Communicate professionally with clients by phone, email, and in person
Coordinate and schedule client meetings, appointments, deadlines, and other important dates
Prepare and e-file court pleadings and other legal filings
Maintain attorney calendars and monitor important deadlines
Manage incoming correspondence and mail
Open and close client files and maintain accurate records
Assist with billing and time entry
Support attorneys and paralegals with day-to-day matter management and administrative processes
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client and estate information
Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as required

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or similar legal support professional
Experience in Trusts & Estates, Estate Planning, Probate, or Private Client work preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong command of grammar, spelling, and professional written communication
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands
Professional and personable approach to client communication
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and perform effectively under pressure
Strong commitment to confidentiality
Ability to learn new software, systems, and procedures quickly

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented Legal Assistant with experience supporting attorneys in a busy legal environment. Candidates with a background in Trusts & Estates, Estate Planning, Probate, or Private Client work are particularly encouraged to apply.

This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional looking to develop their career within a sophisticated Private Client practice in the Naples area.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
