Latitude is seeking construction and procurement attorneys to support infrastructure companies with large-scale data center development projects. The ideal candidates will have experience negotiating complex commercial agreements related to data center infrastructure. Significant experience supporting data center, digital infrastructure, energy, utilities, or other construction projects is required. Prior law firm or in-house experience supporting rapidly growing infrastructure or technology-focused businesses is preferred.
Requirements of the Construction & Procurement Attorney – Data Center Infrastructure (Remote Contract Engagement)

7+ years of experience drafting and negotiating agreements related to data center development and construction, including EPC contracts, equipment procurement agreements, design-build agreements, construction management agreements, engineering services agreements, and related vendor and supply agreements

Experience providing advice and counsel on legal and commercial issues arising throughout the lifecycle of data center projects, including risk allocation, performance obligations, claims, delays, and change orders

Experience handling negotiations with contractors, OEMs, suppliers, engineering firms, and other project partners supporting large-scale infrastructure developments

Active law license in good standing in the state of residence

Compensation:
The salary range for this role is between $180,000 and $210,000. Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
