We represent a luxury builder near the Bonita Springs area that is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to add to their team. This role involves supporting daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvements within a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to contribute to a collaborative team.

Senior Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

Assist with monthly financial reporting and close processes
Perform account reconciliations (balance sheet, intercompany, job cost)
Support tax preparation by coordinating with external accounting firms
Manage financials and bank draw processes for development entities
Oversee credit card approvals and payments
Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses
Assist with annual budget preparation
Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve accounting processes
Maintain documentation of accounting policies and procedures

Senior Staff Accountant Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
3+ years of accounting experience
CPA preferred
Experience in construction or real estate development is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Sage 300 (or similar ERP)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
