Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator

Dove Behavioral Health – Bonita Springs, FL

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Work Location: In Person

About Us

Dove Behavioral Health is a growing outpatient psychiatric practice providing medication management and psychotherapy services for children, adolescents, and adults. We offer both in-office and telehealth appointments and pride ourselves on providing compassionate, patient-centered care with little to no wait time for new patients.

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients.

Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner.
Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling needs.
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
Collect copays and patient balances.
Maintain accurate patient demographic information in the EMR.
Manage incoming referrals and coordinate appointment scheduling.
Respond to patient inquiries and route messages appropriately.
Process medical records requests and office forms.
Maintain a clean and organized front office environment.
Assist with general administrative duties to support providers and staff.

QualificationsRequired

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum one year of medical office or customer service experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent phone etiquette.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn EMR systems.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred

Experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, or healthcare.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
