Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. As a key leadership figure in the kitchen, you will assist the Executive Chef and an additional Sous Chef in overseeing daily food operations in our sought after scratch kitchen, ensuring exceptional quality, safety, and presentation across all dining services.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on culinary techniques, food production, and service standards.
Assist in supervising all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to meet high standards of quality and presentation.
Support the management of food safety sanitizing procedures across all food handling processes.
Smart purchasing.
Assist in menu planning, and portion control to maintain culinary excellence.

Skills

Familiarity with a wide range of cuisines.
Meat and seafood butchering experience is a plus.
Supervising experience with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and culture working relationships with the culinary team.
Strong skills in wide range of cooking techniques.
Demonstrated leadership qualities; capable of managing shifts and supervising staff confidently.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $71,000.00 per year
