Senior Audit Associate

Overview
We are partnering with a growing public accounting firm seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join their Orlando team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of audit engagements, work closely with clients, and step into a leadership track with a clear path to Manager.

3 Keys

3+ years of public accounting audit experience
Big 4 or strong regional firm background preferred
High-potential professional ready to take on leadership responsibilities

Top Objectives

Lead key areas of audit engagements from planning through completion
Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and audit documentation
Support team development by mentoring junior staff

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Perform and lead audit procedures, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up
Prepare and review workpapers and financial statements
Identify risks, internal control gaps, and process improvement opportunities
Communicate directly with clients and manage timelines and deliverables
Supervise and review the work of staff and interns
Support process improvements and best practices across engagements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
3+ years of public accounting audit experience
CPA or CPA-track preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP and audit methodology
Advanced Excel skills
Strong communication skills and leadership potential

Compensation & Benefits

$85K–$100K + bonus
3 weeks PTO
401K with 4% match
