Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator specializing in TIG welding to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components with precision and expertise. Your mechanical knowledge, fabrication skills, and attention to detail will contribute to producing high-quality products that meet strict standards and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and fabrication tools in a fast-paced environment committed to safety, quality, and innovation.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on various metals, including sheet metal and pipe components, following detailed blueprints and schematics.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication.
Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal parts.
Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper fit and alignment.
Execute MIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <LOCATION> specific welding techniques as required for different projects.
Conduct rigging, pipe threading, soldering, machining, and assembly tasks to complete complex fabrications.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to construction site practices, ASME codes & standards, and equipment operation.
Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving ductwork, structural components, or mechanical assemblies.
Operate forklifts and other machinery safely during material handling or project setup.
Perform quality checks using basic math skills to verify dimensions and tolerances before final assembly or shipment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction site environments or manufacturing facilities with a focus on welding and fabrication.
Strong proficiency in TIG welding; experience with MIG welding, FCAW is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and other fabrication machinery.
Familiarity with ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication processes.
Competence in using calipers, micrometers, schematics reading tools, and basic math for precise measurements.
Knowledge of pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, assembly techniques, and rigging procedures.
Ability to work safely on construction sites or manufacturing floors while adhering to all safety protocols including crane operation when necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail; capable of working independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
