Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sous Chef to join our culinary team. In this vital role, you will assist in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food service in a fast-paced environment. Your leadership will inspire culinary excellence while maintaining strict standards for food safety, sanitation, and inventory control. Duties

Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on food production, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
Oversee food handling and ensure compliance with food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a hygienic environment.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective cost control measures.
Support menu planning efforts by contributing creative ideas aligned with fine dining standards and catering requirements.
Ensure smooth coordination of catering events and banquet services, maintaining high-quality food service for large groups.
Enforce restaurant management policies, including shift management and kitchen safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience in full service, fine-casual dining environments with strong background in food production and service management.
Supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential; leadership skills are highly valued.
Demonstrated knowledge of banquet experience and catering operations.
Familiarity with inventory management, cost control, and food handling procedures.
Experience working within the food industry with a focus on culinary excellence and team leadership.
Knowledge of dietary department standards and food safety regulations is preferred.
Prior restaurant management or hospitality experience is advantageous for success in this role.
