Full Job Description

Primary Responsibilities: Front Desk Support

General administrative support for a medical office
Processing of incoming and outgoing patients
Answering phones, speak with patients and caregivers, provide support and encouragement as needed
Scheduling patients for neuromodulation treatment sessions and medication management
Sending and receiving faxes, processing insurance information as necessary
Calendar management and office staff, schedule patient intake appointments
Process credit card payments and do end of day totals
Implement special projects as instructed by manager from time to time
Support medical education events
Benefits Investigations
Records requests
Prior authorizations
Learn TMS and be able to administer treatment when necessary for coverage.

Position Qualifications:

Proven successful performance of all primary position responsibilities listed above in a medical office
Proven excellent communication, organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills and works well independently
Self-motivated, target driven, and proven ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
Professional work ethic and appearance, 1-3 years medical office experience
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft office products and EMR systems
Proven attention to detail in all aspects of work flow processes
Strong organizational and phone skills
Proven ability to follow established office procedures and policies
Proven ability to work successfully with other team members in a fast-paced environment

Additional Qualifications:

· Prior experience with an electronic medical records system

· Prior experience in the mental health field a plus

· College degree a plus
