Job Title: Architectural Designer

Davis Stokes Collaborative, P.C. is currently adding to our workforce. We are an Architectural Design firm serving clients all over the country. We are looking for Project Architect with multiple years’ experience working in an architectural firm that focuses on commercial projects.

Job description:

We are looking to fill a position in our Schematic Design department. The architect and / or intern architect will be responsible for facilitating the initial schematic design phase of construction document production for commercial / healthcare projects. The applicant needs to be self-motivated, detail-oriented, with a go getter attitude.

Experience:

5 years’ experience working in an architectural firm. A focus on commercial or healthcare design is preferable.

Duties / Responsibilities:

· Schematic Document Production

o Designing / preparing space plan layouts.

o Designing / preparing site plans.

o Scheduling / coordinating schematic renderings with the design team.

o Managing client relationships.

· Preparing space programs

· Conducting meetings with clients and user groups.

· Code analysis

o Building code analysis

o Checking plans for ADA compliance

o Checking plans for Healthcare Guideline compliance

· Submitting to governing agencies such as local building officials and state health departments.

Skills:

· Autocad

· Revit

· Photoshop

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Time management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
