Multidisciplinary clinic looking for a medical assistant to assist in therapy for patients. Certifications accepted, but not needed. Training certifications will be paid for by employer. Office hours are M-F 8:30am to 6:30pm.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our healthcare providers by delivering outstanding care and assisting with administrative duties. You will work closely with patients to ensure they feel comfortable and supported during their visit, while also providing a range of clinical support. Your contributions will be essential in helping us maintain the highest level of care and service.

Responsibilities:

Assist patients with completing intake forms, including medical history and insurance details
Take vital signs, record patient information, and document treatment plans
Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness
Assist in preparing patients for chiropractic and physiotherapy treatments
Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and maintain accurate patient records
Support the healthcare team with daily administrative tasks and communication
Ensure that patients feel welcomed and supported during their visits
Maintain a safe and sanitized environment, following all health and safety guidelines
Handle phone calls and answer patient inquiries regarding treatment, scheduling, and insurance coverage
Assist with patient education, including explaining home exercises and recovery plans

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Certification as a Chiropractic Therapy Assistant (preferred)
Previous experience in a chiropractic or physiotherapy clinic (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Compassionate, professional, and detail-oriented
Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
Proficiency with computer systems and office software (experience with electronic health records is a plus)
