About Realkit
Realkit is a professional real estate media company serving agents, brokerages, builders, and property professionals throughout the Nashville area. We are looking to connect with reliable, personable, and detail-oriented photographers and media providers who are interested in accepting real estate media assignments through Realkit. This is a client-facing, appointment-based contractor opportunity that combines photography, media capture, and strong customer service.
What You’ll Do
- Accept and complete residential real estate media appointments throughout the Nashville metro area
- Capture photography for real estate listings
- Capture basic video content for real estate listings
- Interact professionally with agents, homeowners, and property occupants
- Complete appointments in accordance with client media requirements and Realkit deliverable specifications
- Upload media after completed appointments; editing and post-production are handled separately by Realkit
- Provide a professional, friendly, and reliable client experience on-site
Schedule & Availability
- Independent Contractor / 1099 opportunity
- Appointment-based work rather than a traditional fixed-hour position
- Contractors provide their availability and may accept or decline assignment opportunities
- Most appointment opportunities occur between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM
- Weekday availability generally creates more assignment opportunities
- Saturday availability is optional
- Realkit is closed Sundays
- Typical service area is approximately 25 miles from your home location, with additional compensation available for qualifying travel appointments
Please note: Appointment volume can vary based on seasonality, weather, market activity, client demand, and contractor availability. Consistent opportunities are generally available to contractors who demonstrate strong availability, reliably complete accepted appointments, and deliver quality work.

Compensation
- Contractor payments are based on completed appointments and services performed
- Typical gross contractor payments range from $600–$1,200+ per week for active contractors, depending on accepted appointments, availability, appointment volume, and services completed
- Typical appointment payouts range from $65–$150+
- Average payout with add-on services is approximately $120 per appointment
- Additional compensation may be available for qualifying travel appointments and premium media services
- Paid orientation, onboarding, and/or shadowing opportunities may be available for approved contractor candidates
* Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes, equipment, vehicle, insurance, business expenses, and any required licenses or certifications.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Photography experience and confidence operating professional camera equipment
- Basic video capture experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Home computer with reliable high-speed internet
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently
- Comfortable managing a mobile, appointment-based schedule
- Ability to provide services using your own equipment
Preferred
- Real estate photography experience
- Real estate media experience
- FAA Part 107 Drone Certification, or willingness to obtain certification
- Existing photography, video, drone, or real estate media business experience
Equipment Requirements
Contractors must provide their own equipment, including:
- DSLR or mirrorless camera
- Wide-angle lens suitable for real estate photography
- Tripod
- Camera stabilizer/gimbal for video capture
- Smartphone
- Computer with reliable high-speed internet
Drone equipment is a plus but not required.
