Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic team, dedicated to improving patient mobility, function, and overall quality of life. In this role, you will develop personalized care plans, deliver expert physiotherapy interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and community settings. Your expertise will help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or manage chronic conditions with confidence and resilience. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in diverse patient populations through energetic and patient-centered care.

Duties

Assess patients’ physical conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting comprehensive evaluations focused on physiology and anatomy knowledge.
Design tailored care plans that incorporate evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and home & community care strategies.
Implement therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercise programs, mobility training, and pain management to promote recovery and functional independence.
Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed while ensuring clear documentation within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, discharge planning, and ongoing wellness strategies to support long-term health outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Facilitate discharge planning by assessing patient needs for home & community care or continued therapy services post-visit.

Experience

Proven experience in physiotherapy or physical therapy within hospital settings or outpatient clinics is essential.
Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately evaluate and treat diverse musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
Hands-on experience with acute care environments including inpatient units and emergency departments.
Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient documentation and patient record management.
Experience delivering care in home health or community-based programs is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice ensures clear communication within healthcare teams.
Prior work in pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics or sports medicine enhances your ability to serve varied patient populations effectively.
