Job Title: PRN / Contract Ultrasound & Echocardiogram Technologist

Company: Cedar Grove Medical Associates

Cedar Grove Medical Associates is a primary care practice committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the Smyrna community.

Hours: Wednesdays 8am-5pm

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound & Echocardiogram Technologist on a PRN/contract basis.

Position Overview

This is a flexible, as-needed role ideal for a skilled sonographer who is confident performing both general ultrasound . The position is designed for professionals seeking to fill in their schedule while working in a well-supported outpatient setting. PRN/Contract Sonographer – Flexible schedule, strong hourly pay, no hospital call.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams (abdominal, vascular, and other general studies as needed)
Ensure high-quality imaging and proper documentation
Prepare and educate patients prior to procedures
Maintain ultrasound equipment and adhere to safety standards
Collaborate with providers to support clinical decision-making

Qualifications

Registered or registry-eligible in ARDMS and/or CCI (required or strongly preferred)
Experience in both general ultrasound
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
Ability to work independently in a clinical setting
Current BLS certification preferred

Compensation

$40 – $60 per hour, depending on experience and certifications

Schedule

PRN / As-needed coverage (8 hours/wkly - 1–2 days per week)
Flexible scheduling based on availability and patient volume
Opportunity for increased volume as services expand
