At The Joseph, we believe exceptional dining experiences begin behind the scenes. As a Forbes Four-Star luxury hotel in the heart of Nashville, we are committed to delivering world-class hospitality through impeccable service, outstanding cuisine, and a culture of excellence.

We are seeking a passionate and dependable Line Cook III to join our award-winning Culinary team. This role is ideal for an experienced cook who takes pride in quality, consistency, teamwork, and creating memorable dining experiences for every guest.

What You'll Do

Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and Forbes luxury service expectations.
Maintain quality, consistency, and timing during high-volume breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquet service.
Set up, stock, and maintain assigned station with proper mise en place.
Ensure all food is prepared safely and meets company quality standards.
Follow all sanitation and food safety procedures, including HACCP guidelines.
Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing food products using FIFO practices.
Work collaboratively with chefs and fellow culinary team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout each shift.
Support banquet and special event production as needed.
Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other kitchen areas when business demands require.

What We're Looking For

2+ years of professional culinary experience in a hotel, fine dining restaurant, country club, or upscale hospitality environment.
Strong knife skills and knowledge of classical cooking techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
Positive attitude with a team-first mentality.
Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn.
Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

Luxury hotel or Forbes-rated property experience preferred.
Culinary degree or formal culinary training is a plus.
Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain).
