Full Job Description

Latitude is seeking an experienced paralegal/contracts manager to assist an early-stage biotechnology company on a part-time engagement basis. The company is specifically focused on cancer treatments. Interested candidates should have at least 5+ years of experience working in an in-house legal department organizing documents and information, reviewing/redlining agreements, and implementing internal systems. Prior experience in the life sciences field is preferred. This is a fully remote position.

Requirements for the Biotech Paralegal/Contracts Manager:

5+ years of experience in an in-house legal department; prior experience in the life sciences field is preferred
Excellent academic credentials from a U.S. accredited law school
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
Attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
Outstanding references

Position Details of the Biotech Paralegal/Contracts Manager:

Type of Role: Engagement
Schedule: Part-time
Location: Remote

Compensation

Pay: The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).

Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage for work or acts or omissions provided within the scope of a Latitude-authorized engagement. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
