Full Job Description

Pace is seeking a delivery driver that is an Owner/Operator/Independent Contractor with their own 24-26' box truck in our Nashville, TN market for dedicated lanes. Join Pace's carrier network and grow your business with consistent, dedicated routes!

As a box truck delivery driver in Pace's Preferred Carrier Network, you will make deliveries consisting of various freight on a multi-stop route in and around the Nashville area.

A typical delivery will include loading/unloading freight, delivery scanning, app usage to update your delivery statuses in real time, and getting your paperwork signed. Having excellent customer service and maintaining a high degree of safety and professionalism is a must as most of the deliveries are taking place with staff present.

Key Responsibilities for Box Truck Drivers:

Pick up freight and deliver to designated stores.
Operate a pallet jack to load/unload the freight.
Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
Maintain required insurance.
Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.

What does it take to drive with Pace?

Have your own working 24' - 26' Box Truck with Lift Gate.
Meet and maintain insurance requirements - $1million CGL, $1million auto liability, $100,000 motor cargo.
Active DOT number with the FMCSA
Must meet MVR, background, and drug screening requirements.
Drivers must be 21 or older.
