Job Summary:

As a Dietary Aid with Onyx Care of Natchitoches, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care by assisting with food preparation, meal planning, and nutrition education. Our compassionate and innovative team is dedicated to delivering personalized care to every patient, and we're looking for a team player like you to join our mission! As a Dietary Aid, you will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Dietary Manager and other dietary staff with food preparation, meal planning, and nutrition education
Prepare and serve patient meals, including dietary supplements and special diets as needed
Maintain a clean and organized dietary department, adhering to infection control protocols
Assist with inventory management, ordering, and receiving dietary supplies
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff regarding dietary needs and nutrition education
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction
