Full Job Description

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a vital clinical role utilizing your expertise in Imaging within the Cath Lab environment. This engaging contract opportunity seeks a motivated professional with a passion for advanced diagnostic technology and patient-centered care. In this setting, you'll collaborate closely with cardiology teams to deliver high-quality imaging essential for cutting-edge procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

Current certification in radiologic technology (ARRT or equivalent)
Specialized experience in Cath Lab imaging modalities
Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures and terminology
Active state licensure as required for practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred)
Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
Experience working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary medical environment

Responsibilities:

Facilitate and perform high-quality imaging for interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring optimal visualization for physicians
Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to safety standards and best practices
Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care in the Cath Lab
Adhere strictly to infection control and radiation safety protocols
Document procedural details and imaging results accurately in patient records
Support the cardiology team in emergency situations and complex interventions
Participate in continued education and procedural updates as relevant to Cath Lab imaging
