Full Job Description

Job Title: Dough Maker

As a Dough Maker, you will play a vital role in starting each day off on the right foot for the Bakery. The Dough Makers will have early morning hours starting at 6 am, focusing solely on mixing and creating the doughs that will be baked later in the morning. This position will be most suitable for someone who can follow directions well and enjoys focusing in on hands on tasks. Majority of the dough makers' hours will be before the bakery doors open to customers.

What you’ll do

Reading the Bake Schedule for the day and creating an efficient baking plan.
Reading recipes and preparing the workspace accordingly.
Prepare and mix ingredients to create high-quality dough for various baked goods.
Using commercial size mixers and appliances.
Shape, roll, and cut dough according to specific recipes and customer orders.
Keep a fast pace while still maintaining quality of product.
Collaborate with team members to streamline food preparation processes.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food handling regulations and keeping track of/ labelling each dough created.
Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages.

Basic qualifications

Ideally having previous experience with Dough Making.
Experience in food production or preparation within the food industry.
Familiarity with baking techniques.
Able to lift 50lbs
Able to be on their feet for long hours.
