Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables
Manage parties and seating arrangements efficiently
Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods
Provide menus and inform guests about specials or promotions
Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with inquiries.
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism
Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area

Skills

Previous Host/Host experience preferred, with a strong background in food service
Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette
Experience in hospitality guest services is a plus
Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
A positive attitude and a passion for serving others
