I2X Technologies is seeking a Java Team Lead:

Job Description: Java Team Lead (TS/SCI with CI Poly)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Java Team Lead to lead a technical team in delivering high-quality software solutions. This role combines strong technical expertise with Agile leadership responsibilities, including PI Planning and Scrum execution. Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers on daily tasks and technical direction
Facilitate PI Planning, Sprint Planning, and other Scrum ceremonies
Break down features into tasks, assign work, and track progress
Design, develop, and review complex Java-based applications and services
Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices
Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other teams to deliver on commitments
Remove technical and process blockers for the team
Provide technical guidance and support career growth for team members

Qualifications:

Requirements:

7+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java
Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Team Lead
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including PI Planning and Scrum
Strong knowledge of task decomposition, sprint planning, and team coordination
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (required)
Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern development practices
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred to Have:

Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Knowledge of microservices, Spring Boot, or related Java frameworks
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Prior experience in government or clear environments

Essential Requirements:

US Citizenship is required.

Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (required)

The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
