Full Job Description

We are RI, the Midwest’s largest, fastest-growing, and most-respected recovery company. We are a leader in the recovery and remarketing industry. We are now interviewing for a newly-opened Spotter Driver/Field Investigator.

In the Field Investigator position, you will drive a company-issued car in designated areas and locate vehicles that are subject to repossession. You will directly interact with our recovery agents and customers, however you will NOT physically repossess the vehicle. Each vehicle is also equipped with camera technology, which scans other vehicle license plates as you drive. This process helps you locate vehicles that are subject for repossession by our recovery agents; they handle the actual repossession, not you! You will also be issued a company-provided fuel card, so all work-related expenses are paid by RI. This position pays a base hourly rate $14-16/hr. with the opportunity to make plenty of bonuses as well.

This is an entry-level driving position. RI offers intensive training for our newly hired Field Investigators at our corporate headquarters in Maple Grove. During the five day training, you will meet with internal operations that will serve as your support while in the field. You will experience hands on training and in the field. In the field, you will run routes/zones and in some scenarios attempt contact - seeing first hand the role of a Field Investigator.

Experience and Skills:

What we are looking for:

· A self-starter with the drive and discipline to perform successfully under limited supervision.

· A naturally curious soul. Someone who is willing to dig-in and take the extra step necessary to achieve success.

· An excellent communicator. Knowledge is power and the ability to clearly communicate that information makes you a power-player in the field.

What you need:

· A high school diploma or equivalent.

· Be 23 years of age or older with a clean driving record to be approved by our insurance
