Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Property Manager specializing in Residential and Commercial properties! In this energetic role, you will oversee the daily operations of diverse property portfolios, ensuring exceptional tenant satisfaction, compliance with housing regulations, and efficient property maintenance. Your proactive approach will drive leasing success, foster positive relationships with tenants and vendors, and uphold the highest standards of property management excellence. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to lead with enthusiasm and make a tangible impact in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations for both residential and commercial spaces
Oversee property leasing activities, including marketing vacancies, conducting tours, screening applicants, and executing lease agreements in accordance with Fair Housing regulations
Ensure compliance with legal requirements such as Landlord-Tenant Law, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other applicable regulations
Utilize property management software like Yardi and OneSite to perform data entry, financial tracking, reporting, and record keeping efficiently
Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management activities to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet safety standards using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools
Handle legal administrative tasks such as drafting contracts, managing legal documentation, and resolving conflicts through effective negotiation and conflict management strategies
Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication, phone etiquette, and proactive problem-solving to foster strong tenant relationships
Conduct regular inspections, maintain filing systems for legal documents and maintenance records, and oversee office administrative functions including filing and data entry

Experience

Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations
Familiarity with LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, and related compliance requirements
Hands-on experience using Yardi or OneSite property management software for leasing, accounting, or reporting purposes
Background in legal administrative tasks such as contracts management and conflict resolution
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and diplomatically
Strong organizational skills with experience in data entry, filing systems, facilities management, and office administration
Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and upsell additional services or amenities to tenants when appropriate
