Full Job Description

Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Residential HVAC Installer and New construction installer. Knowing service and running service calls are a strong benefit, and become a vital part of creating comfortable, energy-efficient living environments. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your expertise will ensure our customers enjoy reliable climate control while you develop your skills in HVAC design, system troubleshooting, and mechanical systems repair. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and contribute to the comfort and safety of homes in your community.

Duties

Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, and refrigeration equipment following schematics and HVAC design plans.
Perform system repairs and maintenance on existing HVAC units to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics, mechanical systems, refrigeration issues, and building automation systems using specialized tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment.
Conduct plumbing and electrical work related to HVAC system installation and repair, ensuring compliance with safety standards such as EPA regulations.
Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately assemble or troubleshoot complex HVAC systems.
Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system features, maintenance procedures, and answering client questions professionally.
Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs performed, parts used, and system diagnostics for each project.

Skills

Proven construction experience with a strong mechanical aptitude for HVAC system installation and repair.
Service technician experience in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) preferred.
Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation systems.
Skilled in electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, refrigeration techniques including ammonia refrigeration if applicable.
Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, welding equipment, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
Ability to perform HVAC system maintenance and repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards such as EPA certifications.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a driver vehicle preferred.
familiarity with property maintenance is advantageous.
