$10,000 Upon hire
$2500 at 6 months
$2500 at 12 months
With a 12 month additional obligation

Pay: New Wage Scale

Weekend Option Night Shift Fri-Sun 1700-0630 (39 hours/week)
Medical Laboratory Scientist- $36.76-$56.00 based on experience, plus 10% shift differential
Medical Laboratory Technician- $28.89-$44.77 based on experience, plus 10% shift differential
2 Days/1 Night Mon 1700-0630 Thur/Fri 0700-2030 (39 hours/week)
Medical Laboratory Scientist- $28.28-$43.84 based on experience, plus 10% night shift differential
Medical Laboratory Technician- $22.22-$34.44 based on experience, plus 10% night shift differential
Evening shift Mon/Tue/Thur/Fri 1000-2030 (40 hours/week)
Medical Laboratory Scientist- $28.28-$43.84 based on experience, plus 10% evening shift differential

Incentive Eligible Position:
Yes

Essential Functions:
Perform technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and immunology.
Report test results following clinic protocols alerting providers and/or nurses about abnormal results.
Ensure quality control in collecting specimens, ensure appropriate sampling and maintain accurate record keeping.
Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies. Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment.
Comply with all laboratory policies and OSHA regulations related to safety, cleanliness and infection control.
Serve as a back-up to lab manager as needed.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Must be able to stand, walk, grasp, carry and speak frequently
Must be able to occasionally sit, reach, bend and stoop
Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds, with assistance if needed
Frequent use of computer, keyboard, copy and fax machine and phone.

Skills Abilities:
Demonstrates executive and leadership skills, customer service and problem solving skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.

Working Conditions:
Exposure to distressed patients, families or visitors.
Possible exposure to inside environmental conditions.

Physical Demands:
Requires standing, sitting or walking for up to 12 hours or longer per day.
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
MLT or CLS, ASCP, CPT or AMT certification required

Preferred Qualifications:
Medical laboratory experience preferred
