Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and talented Editor / Camera Operator / Content Creator to join our creative team. This role is ideal for a passionate individual with a strong eye for storytelling, technical proficiency in video production, and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing engaging video and photo content that aligns with our brand’s vision. This position requires flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to travel for on-location shoots, videos, and photography projects as needed.
This is a hybrid position that will include both remote and in-person work.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, edit, and produce high-quality video and photo content for various platforms.
- Operate professional camera equipment while ensuring proper lighting, framing, composition, and audio quality.
- Edit and finalize videos, including color correction, audio mixing, graphics, transitions, and special effects.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop content ideas that align with project goals and brand identity.
- Travel for local and out-of-state shoots, adapting to different environments and production needs.
- Maintain and manage video production equipment to ensure functionality and readiness.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate professionalism through strong communication, reliability, and a positive work ethic.
Job Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in video production, editing, content creation, or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or similar programs.
- Experience with professional camera equipment, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Strong storytelling ability with an eye for detail, composition, and creative direction.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability and willingness to travel for projects, including occasional short-notice assignments.
- Must provide a portfolio showcasing previous video and photo work.
- Degree in film, media production, communications, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently while managing deadlines and multiple projects.
