Prime USA Scales (a division of USA Measurements) supplies industrial and commercial weighing equipment — floor scales, truck and livestock scales, crane scales, bench scales, and indicators — to businesses across the United States. We ship heavy freight and parcel orders out of our Las Vegas warehouse every working day.
We're at a turning point operationally: we're investing in better systems, cleaner processes, and a new, purpose-built facility. We're looking for the person who will own the warehouse floor and bring order, accuracy, and professional standards to how product moves through it. Core Qualifications
This role calls for a proven builder. Three areas of demonstrated experience are essential:
1. Building a warehouse organizational system. You have designed a warehouse's organizational structure yourself — zones, bin and rack labeling, put-away logic, and cycle-count discipline — rather than inheriting one already in place. Experience doing this in a small warehouse is preferred, as it most closely reflects our environment and scale.
2. Managing a warehouse team. You have led a floor team directly: setting daily plans, assigning work, developing staff, and holding people accountable for results.
3. Implementing an ERP system. You have served on the implementation side of an ERP or WMS rollout — item and SKU setup, location and inventory structure, data cleanup and migration, testing, user training, and post-go-live support. This is distinct from working as an end user of an existing system.
We ask candidates to address all three areas directly in their application, describing the condition of the operation beforehand, what you built, and the results that followed.
Role
As Warehouse Supervisor, you own the day-to-day operation of our warehouse and lead our team of 4 warehouse staff. You are responsible for making sure the right product gets picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time — and that inventory, organization, and safety are handled to a consistent standard every day.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll set the daily plan, assign and follow through on work, keep the floor clean and organized, and be the person accountable for execution. You lead by setting clear expectations and holding the team — and yourself — to them.
It is also a build role. We are putting in real systems and moving into a new facility, and you are the person who designs how that warehouse runs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operation of the warehouse and the 4-person floor team — plan the day, assign work across receiving, picking, packing, and inventory, and follow through to completion
- Design and own the warehouse organizational system — zones, locations, labeling, put-away and pick paths — and keep it working as we grow
- Lead our ERP and inventory system implementation on the warehouse side: item setup, location structure, data accuracy, testing, and training the team through go-live
- Own outbound order accuracy — verify the correct products, quantities, and configurations ship, and catch errors before orders leave the building
- Maintain inventory accuracy through organized storage, clear location labeling, routine cycle counts, and proactive problem-solving before discrepancies become issues
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and efficient daily, with defined zones for receiving, packing, and calibration work
- Oversee receiving and put-away — unload incoming containers and freight promptly so dock doors and aisles stay clear
- Build and run a consistent returns (RMA) process: inspect, test, categorize, restock sellable items, and flag defects
- Keep the forklift fleet and warehouse equipment safe and operational through routine inspection and maintenance scheduling
- Maintain a safe, OSHA-compliant warehouse at all times
Requirements
3+ years supervising or managing a warehouse team in a shipping/receiving and inventory environment
Demonstrated experience building a warehouse organizational system — locations, labeling, zones, and the discipline to keep it accurate
Demonstrated experience implementing an ERP or WMS, on the implementation side rather than as an end user. Systems such as NetSuite, Fishbowl, Acumatica, Odoo, SAP Business One, or Dynamics
Proven ability to lead a small team — set expectations, delegate clearly, and hold people
accountable without creating friction
Strong inventory-control fundamentals (cycle counts, location systems, accuracy discipline) — APICS coursework a plus
Forklift experience and a working knowledge of OSHA warehouse safety
Organized, proactive, and calm under pressure in a fast-paced, physical environment
Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs and operate safely around heavy freight
Results — What Success Looks Like
Outbound orders ship accurately and on time — wrong-item and missing-item errors are rare and caught before they leave the dock
Inventory accuracy reaches and holds a consistently high level, verified by routine cycle counts rather than guesswork
Every product has a known, labeled home — the team finds items by location, not memory
The ERP reflects what is actually on the floor, and the team uses it because it works
Dock doors and main aisles stay clear; receiving is put away promptly instead of stacking up
Returns are processed quickly and accurately, with sellable stock back in inventory and defects flagged
Forklifts and equipment stay operational and safe, with zero preventable downtime or safety incidents
The warehouse stays clean, organized, and audit-ready as a daily standard
The Opportunity (Near-Term Projects)
This is a fit for someone who wants to build, not just maintain. In your first year you'll:
- Lead the warehouse side of our ERP and inventory system implementation — designed once, the right way
- Stand up barcode scanning and a proper location system
- Plan and lead our move into a new, purpose-built facility, setting it up correctly from day one
You'll have the authority to design it the way it should be done, and the accountability that comes with it.
Schedule & Location
Full-time, onsite at our Las Vegas warehouse, Monday–Friday.
Compensation
$75,000 – $90,000 base salary, depending on proven track record.
